Elementary Middle School Special Education Teacher in Minneapolis, MN

Qualifications:

• Valid Level 3 Minnesota Special Education Licensure (required for both positions)
• Experience teaching or supporting students in either elementary or middle school settings
• Knowledge of diverse instructional strategies and accommodations for students with special needs

• Clear communication abilities and commitment to maintaining an inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
• Deliver engaging instruction in either an elementary or middle school resource/classroom setting
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching approaches as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support personnel to integrate accommodations and modifications
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development and success
