Key Qualifications:

  • Active Minnesota Teaching Credential in Special Education: Developmental Cognitive Disabilities
  • Previous experience working with students with developmental cognitive disabilities is strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of individualized education program (IEP) processes and compliance
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and fellow educators
  • Ability to adapt instruction and classroom management to meet diverse needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate differentiated instruction for a center-based classroom at the high school level
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, tracking progress and updating goals as needed
  • Foster a supportive, structured, and engaging classroom atmosphere
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, data collection, and professional development activities as needed

This assignment offers a full-time schedule (37.5 hours weekly), running through May 28, 2027, and is strictly on-site—no remote or virtual work.
