Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility for appropriate MN licensure)
• Previous experience in special education settings preferred
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and differentiated instruction
• Skilled in collaboration with colleagues, families, and support staff
• Excellent organization, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and classroom management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based instruction for students with diverse learning profiles
• Assess student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom climate
• Facilitate communication with parents, staff, and related service providers
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
• Support social, emotional, and behavioral growth
