Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching licensure for Special Education
• Relevant certification in Special Education required
• Experience working with students with IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
• Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt instruction and materials for varied learning styles and abilities
• Excellent communication with students, families, and interdisciplinary staff

Role Responsibilities:

• Design and implement instructional plans tailored to individual student needs
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for IEP meetings and progress reports
• Create a supportive, safe, and engaging classroom environment for students with exceptionalities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and family members
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Utilize assessment tools and data to adjust teaching strategies and interventions as needed
