Special Education Teacher

Inspire and support students as a Special Education Teacher near Minneapolis, Minnesota! This full-time contract opportunity serves students in grades 7–12 in a resource classroom, offering a collaborative environment with two additional teachers and paraprofessional classroom support.

Key Qualifications

• Valid Minnesota Special Education teaching license appropriate to the position
• Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Responsibilities
• Provide specialized instruction and academic support to students in grades 7–12.
• Collaborate with co-teachers and paraprofessionals to support student success.
• Implement and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Track student progress and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs.
• Maintain a supportive classroom environment and collaborate with families and school staff.

Position Details

• Location: Minneapolis, MN area
• Schedule: Full-time
• Class Size: Approximately 20–25 students
• Setting: Resource classroom with two co-teachers and paraprofessional support
• Contract: ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY)
