Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Special Education Teacher with a Physical and Health Disabilities (P/HD) endorsement
  • Experience supporting K–12 students in varied educational settings
  • Strong background in curriculum modification and assistive technology
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to perform functional evaluations and manage due process including IEP development

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Provide itinerant support through consultations on curriculum modifications, classroom accessibility, and assistive technology applications
  • Conduct comprehensive functional evaluations and write individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor and document student progress to ensure compliance and success
  • Work closely with occupational therapists, physical therapists, and general education staff
