Special Education Teacher - Minturn, CO

Make a meaningful impact in early childhood education as a contracted Special Education Teacher in a dynamic, supportive environment. This full-time role runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a consistent Monday to Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. Your assignment will be determined by your skills and experience, ensuring the best fit across district locations.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credentials (required)
• Experience working with early childhood or PreK populations
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and individualized instruction strategies
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet students’ diverse needs
• Commitment to supporting inclusive education environments

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to PreK students with special needs
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams
