Special Education Teacher in Mobile, AL

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Valid Educator Certification required (must provide images as part of credentialing)
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher or Resource Teacher
• Proven skill in supporting K-2 students, especially those with autism
• Strong communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility and adaptability to support individualized education needs

What You'll Do:

• Deliver targeted instruction and interventions for approximately 20 students
• Collaborate with general educators and specialists to adapt curriculum
• Develop and carry out individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct support both in classroom settings (push-in) and small group/pulled-out formats
• Document progress, attend relevant meetings, and communicate with families as required
• Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment
