Position Details:

• Multiple special education teachers needed for the upcoming academic year
• School year runs from August 3, 2026, to May 25, 2027
• Serve high school students with diverse learning needs
• 4-day work week, Monday-Thursday, 7:30am to 3:30pm
• IEP meetings typically scheduled before or after school hours
• Caseload assignments determined as enrollment solidifies

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education for Arizona, or eligibility to obtain one prior to start date
• Demonstrated experience working with high school-age students, ideally in a special education setting
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) according to student strengths and areas for growth
• Provide differentiated instruction and academic support in both individual and group settings
