Special Education Teacher - Molalla, Oregon

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Special Education Teacher onsite in a dynamic school setting. Multiple openings are available for the 2026-2027 academic year—starting September 9, 2026, and ending June 26, 2027—serving students across grade levels K-12. Full-time schedules average 37.5 hours per week. Caseloads and assignments will be thoughtfully matched to your expertise and interests.

Openings are available in the following specialized programs:

• A middle school life skills program focusing on 12 students with varied behavioral and academic needs, supported by 4 instructional assistants.
• An elementary K-2 developmental classroom with 16 students—many working on basic skills and functional routines, including some non-verbal children, assisted by 5 instructional aides.
• Two positions at an intensive Behavioral Health Center serving a 3rd-5th grade elementary behavioral program with 13 students and 4 instructional assistants.

Ideal candidates will have experience delivering special education services in school environments, preferably across a range of ages and specialized programs. Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and establishing positive relationships with students and families is essential.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Special Education Teacher certification (valid for assignment in Oregon)
• Demonstrated skill in working with students with diverse behavioral, academic, and communication needs
• Strong classroom management and collaborative approach
