Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Special Education Teacher within a vibrant network of schools. This position begins August 5th, 2026, and continues through June 4th, 2027, offering an engaging academic year of 37.5 hours per week. Choose your preferred caseload and grade level, with roles available for Resource/Co-Teach settings in high school (grades 9–12), middle school (grades 6–8), or elementary school (grades K–5).

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Must hold a current South Carolina Special Education (SPED) License
  • Skilled in providing direct instruction, accommodations, and modifications based on IEPs
  • Experience in a school-based, onsite environment required
  • Strong collaborative skills to partner with general educators, support staff, and families
  • Effective communicator, both in group settings and one-on-one meetings
  • Enthusiastic about adapting teaching strategies to diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver differentiated instruction in Resource/Co-Teach classrooms depending on assigned school and grade band
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students
  • Collaborate with instructional teams to foster inclusive classroom settings
  • Maintain accurate data collection, documentation, and progress monitoring
  • Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and regular team collaboration
  • Engage with students and families to promote academic and social success
  • Contribute creative solutions for supporting all learners within a positive school climate
