Special Education Teacher 26/27 School Year

Soliant is seeking dedicated and qualified Special Education Teachers for full-time, school-based positions in the Charleston, South Carolina area (Moncks Corner, SC) for the 2026–2027 school year. This opportunity is located in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, just outside the Charleston metro area, and offers the chance to work alongside a collaborative team of educators and support staff focused on student growth and achievement.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide specialized instruction to students receiving Special Education services.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals and objectives.
• Adapt curriculum, instructional materials, and teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.
• Conduct assessments and utilize data to guide instructional decisions.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal Special Education regulations and documentation requirements.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina Special Education Teaching Certification required.
• Soliant offers Licensing Assistance for qualified candidates.
• Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and Special Education compliance.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Special Education or a related field.

• Ability to support students with a variety of learning, behavioral, and developmental needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
