Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification for California
• Experience working with students identified with mild to moderate disabilities
• Strong commitment to individualized instruction and differentiated learning strategies
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with staff, families, and specialists
• Ability to maintain records, track progress, and implement IEPs successfully
• Comfortable working on-site, with potential consideration for VOCO (virtual/on-campus)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for a caseload of 28 or fewer students
• Provide engaging, tailored instruction that addresses academic, social, and behavioral goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and administrators
• Communicate student progress and needs to families and participate in IEP meetings
• Utilize assessments and progress monitoring tools to inform instructional planning
• Cultivate an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that empowers every student
