Special Education Teacher Needed Outside of Houston, TX

Soliant is hiring Special Education Teachers to support self-contained classrooms serving students with life skills and behavior needs. These positions span both elementary and secondary levels and focus on providing consistent, structured, and supportive instruction.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead a self-contained classroom with an emphasis on functional academics, daily living skills, and behavior supports

• Develop and deliver individualized lessons aligned to each student’s IEP

• Utilize evidence-based behavior interventions and collaborate with campus behavior teams

• Guide and support paraprofessionals assigned to the classroom

• Participate in ARD meetings and maintain compliance with all required documentation

What You Need:

• Valid Texas Special Education Certification

• Experience working in life skills or behavior-focused settings is strongly preferred

• Ability to build rapport with students and maintain a positive, structured learning environment
