Special Education Teacher - Montrose, CO

You’ll be working closely with students, staff, and families near Montrose, CO, providing needed resource and/or inclusion services in a supportive school environment. Key Qualifications:

• Possession of a current Colorado Special Education License or eligibility for reciprocity
• Knowledge of IDEA regulations and special education compliance standards
• Experience supporting elementary-aged learners (preferred)
• Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Dedication to delivering personalized instruction in line with each student’s IEP

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction and support tailored to elementary students with mild/moderate needs
• Implement, monitor, and track progress toward IEP goals
• Maintain accurate compliance records and required documentation
• Collaborate with district staff, parents, and external service providers to ensure student success
