Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Colorado Special Education License or eligibility for reciprocity
- Experience working with elementary-aged learners, especially in special education, is highly valued
- Solid understanding of IDEA and compliance processes
- Skilled in effective communication and teamwork
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and external service providers
Expected Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored instruction and interventions for students receiving special education services
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, ensuring ongoing progress tracking
- Maintain precise documentation and uphold all required compliance standards
- Participate in student evaluations and regular team meetings
- Engage with school staff and families to drive student success
- Adapt instruction to resource and/or inclusion settings as caseload details are finalized
The position starts on August 12, 2026, and continues through the end of the school year. Working hours are part-time with schedule details to be confirmed, offering the flexibility to balance work and personal commitments. While the role primarily seeks onsite candidates, hybrid schedule options will be considered to best support both student needs and educator preferences.
