Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado Special Education License with Early Childhood endorsement (or eligibility for reciprocity)
- Experience working with preschoolers, especially those with special needs, is highly valued
- In-depth understanding of child development and early intervention strategies
- Exceptional communication abilities and a talent for effective family collaboration
- Strong organizational skills for compliance documentation and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized, evidence-based instruction and interventions tailored to preschool-aged students’ diverse needs
- Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct regular progress monitoring and ensure accurate documentation to meet compliance standards
- Collaborate with families, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to foster holistic growth
- Support students’ communication, adaptive, social-emotional, and behavioral development
- Participate actively in evaluations, eligibility determinations, and IEP meetings to support student success
