This full-time contract position centers on delivering specialized instruction and developmental support for young children receiving special education services in an engaging early childhood setting. Key Qualifications:

  • Hold an active Colorado Special Education License with Early Childhood endorsement, or be eligible to obtain one via reciprocity.
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in early intervention strategies and child developmental milestones.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a strong aptitude for collaborating with families and fellow professionals.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted instruction and support tailored to preschoolers’ unique learning and developmental needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for early learners.
  • Conduct ongoing progress monitoring and maintain all necessary compliance documentation.
  • Engage with families and collaborate seamlessly with therapists and multidisciplinary teams to foster holistic growth.
  • Attend and actively participate in student evaluations, eligibility meetings, and IEP conferences.
  • Promote communication, social-emotional, and behavioral development in all interactions.

This role is primarily onsite and follows a part-time schedule of 20 school hours per week, offering a structured work-life balance. The contract runs from August 12, 2026, through the conclusion of the 2026-2027 school year.
