Qualifications:
- Valid, active special education teaching license (no pending licenses will be considered)
- For Extended Resource position (Full Time): Tennessee 461 endorsement required
- For Inclusion Teacher position (Part Time): Tennessee 144 or 145 endorsement accepted
- Experience working with 3rd-8th grade students in a special education setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in grades 3-8
- Provide targeted instruction and support to students within an Extended Resource classroom (full-time) or as an Inclusion Teacher (part-time)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and related service providers to ensure student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student performance and progress toward IEP goals
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
