Early Childhood Licensed Special Education Teacher in Morrisville, NC

Desired Qualifications:

• Active state certification and licensure in Special Education for Early Childhood
• Experience working with students in early childhood settings, preferably in a school environment
• Solid understanding of both pull out and push in service models for special education
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with staff, families, and other service providers
• Ready to work full-time 37.5 hours weekly for the 26/27 school year

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to early childhood students requiring special education support
• Plan, implement, and assess both pull out and push in service models based on student IEPs
• Collect and report progress data, making instructional adjustments as needed
• Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Work in tandem with a co-teacher to jointly manage caseload and instructional planning
• Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student growth
