What You'll Need:

• Valid IL PEL with LBS1 endorsement (PK-22)
• Experience and confidence in managing student behavior, especially with behavior disorders
• Flexibility to teach either 3rd or 8th grade based on evolving assignment needs
• Competency with both self-contained and inclusive (push-in/pull-out) instructional models
• Strong independent IEP writing and goal-setting skills

Your Day-to-Day:

• Work Monday through Friday, 7:40 am – 3:20 pm, with a paid lunch and planning time integrated into your ~39 hour work week
• Deliver instruction in core subjects (math, reading, science, social studies)
• Foster a supportive environment for students with varying special needs
• Manage IEP documentation, goal setting, and individualized support
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
