Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
Provide specialized instruction to support students with a variety of learning, behavioral, and developmental needs.
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to promote student success.
Monitor student progress, maintain required documentation, and participate in IEP meetings.
Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages academic growth and independence.
Qualifications:
Active Michigan Special Education Teaching License (or eligibility to obtain one).
Previous school-based experience preferred, but qualified new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
