Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Tennessee 461 Certification in Special Education (required).

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with parents, colleagues, and support staff.
  • Compassion, patience, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide instruction and support for students with moderate to severe disabilities.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individual education plans tailored to student needs and goals.
  • Employ evidence-based strategies and interventions in classroom activities.
  • Maintain clear, timely communication with families and related service providers.
