This onsite contract opportunity near Mountain Valley, CA offers multiple openings for Special Education Teachers specializing in mild/moderate and moderate/severe disabilities. Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and manage individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique strengths, needs, and goals
• Provide individualized and small-group instruction to students with a wide range of learning needs and abilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and school staff to promote inclusive classroom experiences
• Monitor student progress through ongoing assessment and data collection, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
• Create a structured, positive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages academic, social, and emotional growth
• Communicate regularly with students, families, and staff to ensure consistent support and student success
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and other collaborative planning sessions
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all state and federal special education regulations

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field required (Master's degree preferred)
• Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential
• Experience working one-on-one with students with disabilities preferred
• Experience supporting students with mild/moderate or moderate/severe disabilities preferred
• Strong classroom management, instructional, and behavior support skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Passion for creating inclusive learning environments and helping students achieve academic, social, and emotional success

Compensation: This position pays $40–$45 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing assistance, and meals/incidentals (where applicable).
