Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid 461 Tennessee Special Education licensure required
  • Experience working with K-2nd grade students preferred

  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in diverse classroom environments
  • Ability to cultivate a nurturing, inclusive learning atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized educational programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Deliver engaging instruction in a self-contained classroom, adapting lessons to multiple learning styles
  • Track student progress and report on performance to team members and parents
  • Foster foundational academic, behavioral, and social-emotional skills
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by policies and procedures
