Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid 461 Tennessee Special Education license required
• Experience teaching in a self-contained special education classroom preferred
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and evidence-based instructional strategies

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in core academic subjects
• Use a variety of assessment tools to monitor progress and adjust teaching strategies
• Foster a supportive, positive classroom environment focusing on social, emotional, and academic growth
