Starting as soon as possible and extending through June 11, 2027, you'll find both security and the chance to build lasting relationships within education.

With four unique positions available, you can match your skills and interests to the right classroom: choose from early childhood self-contained, elementary self-contained resource room, elementary push-in/pull-out resource room, or the 6-12 grade push-in/pull-out resource room. You'll collaborate with dedicated staff and families to nurture academic, social, and emotional growth in every learner.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification in Special Education (appropriate for Michigan or willingness to obtain)
  • Proven ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Experience supporting students in inclusive and/or self-contained settings
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families, staff, and administration
  • Passion for creating accessible and engaging learning experiences for diverse learners

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and adapt lessons using evidence-based strategies tailored to each student’s needs
  • Assess student progress and maintain timely, accurate documentation
  • Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student independence
  • Work closely with general education teachers and related service providers to ensure cohesive instruction
  • Participate in case conferences, ongoing professional development, and school meetings
