Key Qualifications:

  • Certified Special Education Teacher for grades 3-5
  • Experience working in intermediate school settings
  • SPED expertise required
  • Preferred: Certification in Orton-Gillingham instructional approach
  • Ability to commit full-time from August 31st - June 23rd

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored instruction and accommodations for students with diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families on IEPs
  • Provide research-based interventions, with emphasis on reading strategies such as Orton-Gillingham
  • Foster an inclusive classroom culture and support student growth
  • Track and report on student progress
