This position is for a Special Education Early Childhood Teacher specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder, serving students from Kindergarten through 3rd grade. The role is a full-time contract for the 2026-2027 school year, located in Channahon, IL. The program focuses on communication and adaptive behavior within the autism program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Deliver specialized instruction and support in communication and adaptive behavior.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of student performance and communication with families.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification in Special Education.
- Experience teaching students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, preferably in early childhood settings.
- Strong understanding of communication and adaptive behavior strategies.

Work Schedule and Location:
