Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Previous experience working with students in special education settings preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction tailored to students’ unique learning requirements
• Create, implement, and assess Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student progress
• Monitor student performance, collect data, and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding special education
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
• Encourage student independence, critical thinking, and self-advocacy
