Key Qualifications:

• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement required
• Experience or enthusiasm for teaching middle school special education
• Strong collaboration and co-teaching skills
• Ability to support diverse learning needs within ELA and Math classrooms
• Effective communicator with students, team members, and parents

Core Responsibilities:

• Co-teach 6th and 7th grade ELA (up to 3 classes) and Math (up to 2 classes)
• Collaborate with two other teachers to plan and deliver differentiated instruction
• Support inclusion and individualized education plans to promote student success

• Communicate progress regularly to parents and the educational team
