Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification (state-specific).
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students, ideally within special education settings.
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Flexibility, organization, and a compassionate, student-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction to students in grades 3-5 according to IEP goals.
  • Assess student progress and document achievement, adjusting strategies to promote growth.
  • Coordinate with classroom teachers and related service providers for a seamless educational experience.
