Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credentials
• Experience working with students from grades K-12 (elementary, middle, and/or high)
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
• Patience, adaptability, and a student-centered mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and accommodating instruction designed around students’ IEP goals
• Assess student abilities and tailor supports for academic and social-emotional growth
• Work closely with general education teachers and support staff to facilitate inclusion
• Maintain regular communication with families regarding student progress
• Document and report on student achievements and areas for growth
• Participate in IEP meetings and school staff development sessions
