Job Type Contract

Are you a dedicated special education teacher looking for the flexibility of remote work? VocoVision specializes in placing qualified educators in virtual special education roles throughout New Hampshire. This posting helps us maintain a pool of exceptional candidates ready to step into positions as they become available with our partner districts.

These positions offer the opportunity to make a real difference in students' lives while working from home. Typical assignments involve working 35-37.5 hours weekly with caseloads of 40-50 students across elementary, middle, or high school grade levels. You'll provide direct instruction in areas such as reading comprehension, mathematics, written expression, and executive functioning skills, all delivered through engaging virtual platforms.

What You'll Do

Your days will involve conducting live virtual instruction sessions, adapting curriculum materials to meet individual student needs, and maintaining ongoing communication with families and educational teams. You'll be responsible for developing IEP goals, tracking progress toward those goals, and adjusting instruction based on student performance data. The role requires strong time management skills as you'll balance synchronous teaching sessions with asynchronous planning, grading, and documentation responsibilities.

Collaboration is central to this position—you'll participate in virtual IEP meetings, consult with general education teachers about accommodations and modifications, and coordinate with related service providers to ensure students receive comprehensive support. Creating an inclusive and supportive virtual learning environment where students feel valued and challenged is essential.

Candidate Requirements

You must possess a current special education teaching license valid in New Hampshire along with a Master's degree. Two years of documented school-based experience working with students with disabilities is required. Strong communication skills are critical for building relationships with students and families in a virtual setting. Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support, response to intervention frameworks, and evidence-based instructional strategies will serve you well in these roles.
