An exciting contract opportunity awaits skilled Special Education Teachers interested in making a difference in the lives of students. Two full-time positions are available in a welcoming educational setting near Nashua, NH, spanning the 2026–2027 school year (August to June). These roles offer rewarding experiences working Monday through Friday, totaling 32–37.5 hours a week.

The first opening centers around supporting approximately 15 students as a resource room teacher for 5th and 6th graders. You'll provide targeted instructional support and accommodations in a collaborative environment.

The second position is tailored for a teacher with experience in Life Skills and Intensive Needs, leading a self-contained classroom of 3 students with complex medical needs and/or autism spectrum disorders. You'll work closely with dedicated paraprofessionals, ensuring each student receives the support and care they require.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility for certification).
  • Experience with 5th–6th grade students and knowledge of individualized education planning.
  • Familiarity with Life Skills curriculum and strategies for teaching students with intensive needs (for the Intensive Needs role).
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Compassion and adaptability in meeting diverse student needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student abilities and goals.
  • Provide direct instruction, accommodations, and interventions as required.
  • Track and report student progress, coordinating with families and staff.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with paraprofessionals and specialists to ensure comprehensive support.
