This full-time role runs from August 2026 through June 2027 and offers you the chance to make a real impact within elementary education, working a schedule of 32.5 to 37.5 hours per week.
The position focuses on early childhood special education, and you’ll be working with an elementary caseload. There are four openings available for passionate professionals who want to help students grow and thrive in an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education Certification required (dual certification is NOT necessary)
- Previous experience working in special education, especially with early childhood or elementary students, is preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to create engaging, individualized learning plans for diverse learners
- Positive attitude, organizational skills, and reliability
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction to students with varied abilities and needs
- Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Foster a supportive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Employ effective classroom management strategies
- Collect and analyze student data to measure growth and adjust instruction accordingly
- Support students’ social, emotional, and academic progress
