Special Education Teacher in Nashua, NH

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Certification required (dual certification is NOT necessary)
• Previous experience working in special education, especially with early childhood or elementary students, is preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to create engaging, individualized learning plans for diverse learners
• Positive attitude, organizational skills, and reliability

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction to students with varied abilities and needs
• Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Foster a supportive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Employ effective classroom management strategies
• Collect and analyze student data to measure growth and adjust instruction accordingly
