Work alongside dedicated paraprofessionals who support instruction and care for students, creating a collaborative and encouraging setting. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education
• Valid Special Education Teaching license or certification (or eligibility)
• Experience working with elementary-aged students, especially in life skills or self-contained classrooms, is highly preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Compassion, patience, and adaptability to meet diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student learning
• Deliver instruction in core academic subjects and functional life skills
• Modify curriculum and use diverse teaching strategies to accommodate unique learning styles
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families to maximize student progress
• Create a positive, supportive, and structured classroom environment
• Maintain accurate records and regular communication with families and staff
