Special Education Teacher - Nazareth, PA

Multiple itinerant substitute positions are available across a variety of specialized programs and classrooms, offering fulfilling challenges to educators eager to make a daily impact in diverse settings. As an itinerant substitute, you'll support students across different sites, filling in for vacancies, leaves, or long-term needs, with the flexibility to adapt and thrive in dynamic special education environments.

Assignments include specialized programs such as an Enhanced Autism Center, Functional Classrooms for students with significant disabilities, and Enhanced Emotional Support classrooms. You’ll work closely with students who have unique behavioral, emotional, and academic needs, providing both individualized support and collaboration with dedicated teams of professionals.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Special Education certification (required or preferred based on placement)
• Special education classroom teaching experience
• Proven skills in implementing IEPs and delivering specialized instruction
• Strong behavioral management and support techniques
• Ability to work effectively with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families
• Flexibility and adaptability to support various classrooms and programs
• Background in Autism Support, Emotional Support, Multiple Disabilities, Behavioral Health, or IU/specialized settings preferred

• Substitute across multiple programs, providing consistent and caring instructional support
• Deliver academic, behavioral, and communication interventions
• Assist with development and monitoring of individualized educational plans
