Key Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Special Education certification (required/preferred, depending on assignment)
- Experience teaching in special education classroom settings
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
- Strong team collaboration and communication abilities
- Program-specific expertise preferred:
• Autism Support: Experience with ASD, ABA-informed strategies, AAC/PECS, BIPs, sensory regulation
• Multiple Disabilities Support: Supporting complex needs, adapted instruction, life skills development, personal care • Emotional Support: Behavioral management, de-escalation, trauma-informed and crisis prevention strategies
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver differentiated instruction and classroom management adapted to each program’s needs
- Implement and progress monitor IEPs
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families
