Step into a pivotal role supporting students with diverse learning needs in specialized educational settings for the 2026-2027 school year. Highly qualified Special Education Teachers are needed for multiple programs, including Autism Support, Multiple Disabilities Support, and Emotional Support classrooms. Assignments span a range of student populations, each with unique strengths and challenges, at several sites within a 35-minute commute of Nazareth, PA.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Pennsylvania Special Education certification (required/preferred, depending on assignment)
  • Experience teaching in special education classroom settings
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
  • Strong team collaboration and communication abilities
  • Program-specific expertise preferred: • Autism Support: Experience with ASD, ABA-informed strategies, AAC/PECS, BIPs, sensory regulation
    • Multiple Disabilities Support: Supporting complex needs, adapted instruction, life skills development, personal care • Emotional Support: Behavioral management, de-escalation, trauma-informed and crisis prevention strategies

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver differentiated instruction and classroom management adapted to each program’s needs
  • Implement and progress monitor IEPs
  • Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families
  • Foster a positive and supportive classroom climate that celebrates student growth
  • Engage in program meetings and professional learning, contributing to an inclusive educational community

Assignment Details:

  • School-day schedule (typically 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, varies by site)
  • Academic year contract: August 10, 2026 – June 11, 2027 (tentative, follows school calendar)
  • Multiple program placements available to match experience and preference
