What We're Looking For:

• Current certification as a Special Education Teacher.
• Experience or passion for working with elementary and/or middle school-aged children.
• Ability to provide or oversee toileting assistance.
• Familiarity with basic care for students with feeding tubes is a plus, though direct feeding is not required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs.

Role Highlights & Responsibilities:

• Lead an elementary classroom with a caseload of six students, each supported by a Teaching Assistant and a dedicated Behavior Technician. Primary needs center on toileting assistance.
• Take charge of a middle school classroom with eleven students, supported by three full-time Teaching Assistants and a 1:1 Aide for one student. Most needs focus on toileting assistance, with only one student requiring support for a feeding tube.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that empower your students to reach their potential.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and understood.
• Collaborate daily with support staff to ensure seamless care and consistent learning experiences.
• Maintain strong communication with families and school staff to celebrate progress and address needs promptly.
