Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility for Nevada licensure)
• Proven experience working with students on the autism spectrum preferred
• Knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies for diverse learners
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with families, staff, and administrators
• Ability to adapt quickly and manage a flexible caseload

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Provide direct instruction, intervention, and behavioral support to students with autism
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, aides, and specialists to deliver coordinated care
• Maintain accurate records and ongoing progress monitoring for compliance and reporting
• Engage positively with families and community stakeholders to enhance student learning
• Create a nurturing, supportive classroom environment that encourages social and academic achievement
