If you have expertise in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or social-emotional needs, your skills are especially valued—sub separate classroom roles are currently a primary focus, offering meaningful collaboration with a dedicated team. Each classroom includes the support of 2-3 paraeducators, as well as access to supervisors, BCBAs, and Social Workers, ensuring a robust network to help you create the best educational experience possible.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education
  • Experience working in K-12, inclusion, or sub separate settings
  • Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Expertise in ASD or social-emotional support (highly valued for sub separate roles)
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective instruction to support diverse learners in accordance with IEPs
  • Create an inclusive and welcoming classroom culture
  • Collaborate with paras, BCBAs, social workers, and supervisors
  • Adapt instructional strategies to meet a variety of student needs
  • Collect data and track student progress, maintaining accurate records
