As a key member of the classroom, you’ll support students’ academic, social, and emotional development through individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted instruction.

Qualifications:

• Active Texas General & Special Education Certification required
• Previous experience in a self-contained special education setting highly valued
• Strong understanding of relevant instructional strategies and accommodations
• Ability to adapt lessons to diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional support for ECSE students in a self-contained classroom
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans based on individual IEPs
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
• Track student progress, maintaining regular communication with parents and IEP teams
• Participate in meetings and collaborate with colleagues and support staff
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal special education requirements
