You’ll have a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, beginning as soon as possible, with a long-term end date of June 2027.
Ideal candidates hold a valid Connecticut Special Education Certification (165 or 265), with consideration given to applicants who possess DSAP certification. The role focuses on supporting elementary-aged students, providing individualized instruction, managing IEPs, and fostering inclusive learning environments. Compensation ranges from $39 to $53 per hour, reflecting experience and qualifications.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Hold valid Connecticut Special Education Certification (165 or 265); DSAP certification candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience teaching or supporting students in grades K–5
- Strong background in IEP development, case management, and delivering direct instruction
- Effective communicator with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexible, organized, and passionate about supporting diverse learners
- Previous resource or push-in teaching experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct instruction tailored to student needs in K–5 classrooms
