Grades K - 5 Special Education Teacher in New Britain, CT

Enjoy a consistent full-time schedule of 35-40 hours per week, with a long-term assignment through June 2027. Compensation for this role is competitive, ranging from $35-45 per hour for candidates with DSAP certification and $45-55 per hour for fully licensed Special Education Teachers.

• Hold a valid CT teaching license with 165 or 265 Special Education Certification (DSAP candidates encouraged to apply)
• Deliver instruction and interventions that inspire achievement for students with diverse needs in grades K-5
• Demonstrate expertise in IEP development and writing, case management, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Facilitate direct, small-group and individualized instruction that addresses academic, social, and behavioral goals
• Communicate effectively with families, staff, and support personnel
