Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Previous experience in a school or classroom setting, preferably working with students with diverse learning needs
• Solid understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt instructional approaches to various learning styles

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans tailored to students’ unique needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and parents to promote student progress
• Monitor and document student performance, adjusting strategies as required
• Provide a supportive and structured classroom environment
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing observations and insights to fine-tune goals and services
• Foster positive relationships with students to encourage growth, independence, and confidence
