Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Prior experience working with K-12 students with varying exceptionalities

• Ability to develop and modify Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and adapt lesson plans tailored to each student’s IEP goals
• Deliver engaging instruction in a resource, self-contained, or inclusion classroom setting
• Maintain frequent communication with parents, staff, and related service providers
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize student success
• Utilized evidence-based intervention strategies and accommodations
• Foster a positive, respectful classroom community that encourages student participation and growth
