Two full-time positions are available, tailored for skilled Special Education Teachers ready to make a tangible difference onsite for the 2026-2027 school year (August 17, 2026 – June 3, 2027).
Available Opportunities:
- Middle School: Grades 6–8, serving a caseload of 25–30 students
- High School: Grades 9–12, serving a caseload of 25–30 students
Desired Background and Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Teaching License with SPED Endorsement
- Proven experience working with mild/moderate behaviors
- Willingness to assist with toileting needs if required
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction and modifications to boost student achievement
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with general education staff, families, and support teams
- Employ effective classroom management strategies
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Provide guidance and behavioral support to ensure educational access for all students
