What we’re seeking:
- Valid Wisconsin Special Education teaching credentials.
- Prior experience in self-contained or resource classrooms is highly desirable.
- Solid background handling K-12 caseloads.
- Proven experience developing and implementing IEPs.
- Ability to perform all general responsibilities and duties expected of a Special Education Teacher.
- Enthusiastic professional with a strong work ethic, growth mindset, and positivity!
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating inclusive, engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Managing and maintaining thorough, compliant IEP documentation.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff.
- Providing direct instruction and necessary accommodations for all learners.
- Fostering a positive, empowering classroom environment.
- Monitoring student progress and adapting instruction to optimize outcomes.
