• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Previous experience supporting high school-aged students with varied learning needs
• Strong familiarity with IEP development and implementation

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to each student’s individual goals
• Develop, update, and implement IEPs in partnership with faculty and families
• Monitor student progress, document growth, and adjust plans accordingly
• Collaborate frequently with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
• Create an encouraging classroom environment that promotes self-advocacy and independence
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student successes and challenges
• Demonstrate adaptability and creativity in responding to diverse learning needs
