Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing individualized and group instruction to support progress toward IEP goals
• Collaborating with general education teachers to assist students in their areas of struggle
• Writing and updating IEPs, ensuring compliance and effective student support
• Tracking student progress and modifying instruction as needed
• Conducting assessments and participating actively in student goal tracking
• Attending and presenting at IEP meetings, communicating effectively with families and staff

Qualifications:

• Valid Connecticut Special Education Endorsement; candidates with a Durational Shortage Area Permit (DSAP) will also be considered
• At least two years of recent experience in teaching Special Education
• Demonstrated proficiency in writing and implementing IEPs
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
