Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Experience adapting curriculum and instruction for students in grades K-5, 6-8, or 9-12
• Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Enthusiasm for facilitating academic and social growth in students with diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication skills with students, families, and colleagues

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement specialized instruction and behavioral strategies
• Track and document student progress toward IEP goals
• Work closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure cohesive support
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to address students’ individual strengths and challenges
• Foster a welcoming, productive classroom that encourages participation and achieves meaningful outcomes
