Qualifications:

  • Valid Connecticut Special Education Endorsement (DSAP-qualified candidates are encouraged to apply)
  • Minimum of 2 years recent teaching experience
  • Proven ability to write, implement, and manage IEPs
  • Background in high school resource settings preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Provide push-in and pull-out academic support for a caseload of approximately 25 high school students
  • Write and implement effective IEPs
  • Attend and present in IEP meetings
  • Conduct assessments and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to support classroom success
