Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) - 26/27

We are seeking a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year in New Haven, Indiana. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity to provide direct 1:1 support to an elementary student in a collaborative school environment.

Setting: In Person Only
Caseload: Elementary 1:1

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct interpreting services for an elementary student throughout the school day
- Support communication between the student, teachers, staff, and peers
- Assist in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Collaborate with special education staff and related service providers
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all school settings

Requirements:

- Active SLI certification/licensure required
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Passion for supporting student success and accessibility
